The loner that saw everyone doing better than him. Let’s go to the past and talk about the story of many, a story as old as time. Mike is a guy that is passionate about programming, while everyone in high school was making friends, talking about girls or just having fun (or at least that’s what he believes the others were doing), he was there learning stuff, making cool software, games, mods for games, and just having the time of his life that way.

Compile GZDoom 4.0.0 in Ubuntu 24 In the following post, we will look at how to compile gzdoom engine 4.0.0. The special thing about this version is that it is the last version compatible for 32 bits OS.
Requirements First, let’s download the source code for GZDoom 4.0.0.
Or just let’s clone it like this:

So I started using QEMU a few weeks ago to emulate a MacPro in my computer, and personally I liked it a lot. Now I wanted to try launching my own local server to do all my experiments and stuff that can potentially break the OS without fearing of breaking my computer or my Digital Ocean VPS.
What we would do? Basically, for this example, we will use QEMU, a Debian image and tmux.

My personal experience I love Game Development, and the part I love the most is Networking.
My personal passion is to code cooperative networking for games. Why? because I love to play with games, and sometimes I find games that I feel like “I wish this one had cooperative so I could play with my Friends”. All the little games I made last years had cooperative networking, and I also did a very big project bringing cooperative to a fork of Doom 3 called Dhewm3.

LAMP & Laravel Stack optimization. Hi and welcome to another post of mine about tech stuff. This time I want to talk about something very related to my current work: LAMP, Laravel and optimization for high traffic servers.
Personal word of advice. Word of advice from personal experience before diving a lot into the trap of obsession related to optimize everything to make it work with less hardware and bandwith possible.

Why I started using vim? I do programming since a long time. Most of my time programming was related to Game Development (Networking), Web App Development, and Desktop development. Most of the time I did software in my local machine or I didn’t have to use remote servers too much since six months ago. I used to work with VSCode which I used to find it great and I was really comfortable with, I also used Atom before that and Sublime Text Editor even before, but after I started to work with multiple remote servers everything changed for me.

Welcome to my blog Hi everyone, this is Stradex. It’s been a long while since I wanted to start making my own blog but every single time I wanted to start with this, I failed to do it because I was never able to find the proper medium to share my thoughts quickly and in a comfortable way to me.
I tend to spend LOT of time in the command line and I usually don’t like to log in any website or to even open the web browser, and because of that many of the traditional mediums to share my thoughts in internet were not for me.
